Skin Care Faves

As much as I love shopping for make up sometimes you just can not beat a good skin care haul, especially in Autumn/Winter I tend to spend more on skincare products than I do make up as really like to look after my skin and you can't beat that feeling of cleansing, toning and feeling how smooth and refreshed your skin feels.

Here are a few skin care products I am loving at the moment and using a lot

Clarins Lotion Tonique -  I've been using this for the past 3 weeks now and I have to say firstly I'm impressed with the size of the bottle it's bloody huge. I use at night when I'm removing my make make up I find it so gentle on my eyes and as I use a lot of eye make up I have found in the past can be quite a chore to remove it all but with this it removes like a dream and really leaves me skin feeling all refreshed

Elizabeth Arden Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser - I use this on a daily basis either in the bath or shower and on my face, and after using this for about two weeks now I can really tell a difference I have not had a break out at all *touch wood* and my skin just feels so much better for using it.

No7 Melting Gel Cleanser - When I don't use my Elizabeth Arden Cleanser I use this and I have to say I love most of the No7 skin care range smells amazing and my skin seems to love it, works really well and I will be re purchasing this for sure.

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water -  Ahh this is my 3rd bottle of this water I just love it it smells bloody amazing I could sniff it all day long :), and when I'm not wearing a full face of make up i use this in the evening s and just sweep it all over my face, and afterwards my skin is so silky smooth .

So those are the skin care products I am using at the moment. What skincare products are you using or swear by? Have you used these before? Let me know

My Two Fave Skin Care Products ( Origins & Kiehls)

Recently I have been having a clear out of all my old skin care products which I either didn't use anymore or felt weren't right for me, and was on the look out for some new products too try and two brands I have fallen in Love with are Origins and Kiehls and especially these two products.....

Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream-  When I was in Boots the other week I stopped by the Origins counter to pick up some more of their Make A Difference hand cream which both my Mum and I swear by and whilst I was there I explained to the lovely lady that my skin was quite dry at the min and she pulled out this tub and said it was like applying silk to my skin and would really help to hydrate it, So I picked up a tub of this and the first thing I have to say is OH MY GOD the smell is bloody amazing I wouldn't say it was ginger scent I'd say more citrus fresh scent and it's incredible, I think this tub will last a long time as you only need a tiny amount and it goes a long one, it applies like a dream, absorbs into the skin so quick and leaves my skin feeling and smelling out of this world.
Will I repurchase?? Oh yes time and time again. You can buy this from the Origins in Boots, or anywhere which stocks Origins for £20 for 200ml which personally for what it is I think is very good.

Kiehls Creme De Corps ' Soy Milk and Honey Body Cream'-  I want to EAT/DRINK this stuff oh dear lord the smell is like being on holiday and drinking a pina colada it just has that amazing holiday smell and If I could I would sit here and just smell it all day and night aaaahhh. I picked this up in House Of Fraser on Saturday as I had heard such good things about it and although it basically the same as origins I feel this will help my dry patches more it looks really thick and creamy but when you touch it , it is so light and fluffy which is amazing as it absorbs so well in to my skin and I can already tell a difference since using this. My skin just feels so much healthier, I will be getting this again, it retails for £36 but again this is going to last for ages so will be well worth the money.

What skin care products are you liking at the min?

Fave Soap & Glory Products

The Greatest Scrub Of all-

What S&G say- Contains a blend of super gentle silicami particles and salicylic acid-loaded scrub beads, so the more you scrub, the more you smooth. Like a DIY microdermabrasion. It’s a scrub formulated to leave even the most exhausted face looking FRESH

What I say- I decided to get this when there was a 3 for 2 offer on in Boots and couldn't decide what else I wanted to get, Now I am SO glad I did get this as it is amazing, I have been using it for past 2 or 3 weeks and my skin is so much smoother and soft, and I have not had a break out of spots since I have included this in my skin care routine.

Pulp Friction

What S&G say- Get fresher, smoother and softer skin with fig powder, pumice, peppermint oil, lemonade tree liquid, orange waterjuice™ and vitaminballs™ (A,C,E). Scented with our new Fruitigo™ fragrance.

What I say- Firstly this is like nothing I have ever used before as it is a Scrub but also it foams up which is amazing, the smell is just like Butter Yourself so a nice holiday smell which I love and this scrub is amazing it really helps my skin and especially use it on my knees where can be prone to dry patches and it really works well.
Butter Yourself

What S&G say - Fruity body moisturiser containing exfoliating AHAs, orange waterjuice™, shea butter, peppermint oil & fruitliquid fig. Scented with our new Fruitigo™ fragrance.

What I say- I love this product so much and I'm already on my 4th tub of this, I used to love the Righteous Butter and of course it is still nice but oh my god this Butter Yourself is beyond amazing the smell just reminds me of being on holiday and lingers on my skin longer love it

Peaches And Clean

What S&G say- Our special clogged T-zone formula Includes peach extract (with skin smoothing fruit acids), quillaja bark (a gentle natural ‘soap’), jojoba oil (an emollient skin softener), Detoxyboost™ technology (to help purify and deep clean) and Poreshrink R2™ (for a clearer, fresher, brighter complexion). In our opinion it’s the best cleansing milk on the market!

What I say - OMG this is a complete LOVE affair, I had so many good reviews about this and was thinking ' will it live up to the hype?' well it has and more, firstly if you love peaches you will adore the smell it just smells like a peach yoghurt and it works wonders for my skin,I use a couple of small pumps and rub it on all over my face whilst I still have my make up on leave it for a couple of minutes and then wash it off and all my make up comes off with it,Just amazing and leaves my skin feeling so good.

Scrub 'EM And Leave EM'-

What S&G say- With babassu oil, sea salt and moisturising jojoba and mandarin oils. Scented with our Mist You Madly™ fragrance.

What I say- ahhhh the smell is the first thing I have to mention is as it is out of this world, I could just sit there and smell this all day long :). This is without doubt one of my favourite body exfoliators and couldn't do with out it.

Have you tried any of these S&G products? What S&G products do you like?
