O.P.I Muppet Collection

So This week I added to my ever growing Nail varnish collection and got O.P.I's brand new Muppet Collection and I think this is my fave collection they have done this year so many polishes jam packed full of glitter ready for the festive season and parties you may be going to my! My fave is Rainbow Connection which is like confetti in a bottle the most amazing bits of multi coloured glitter and I will be doing a NOTD on that soon.

But the one i'm wearing at the min and I adore for festive time of year is Excuse Moi which is a stunning deep red base which a glitter fest going on inside, what I love most is outside and in daylight all the different bits of glitter look stunning I love it. I know it going to be a nightmare to remove but now I just use the foil way and find it so much easier and simplier to do. Also am so excited for the Models Own Beetle Juice collection, and China Glaze winter collection can not wait and Of course Essie Fall I already have and adore.
What collections are you loving ?

Whats In My Bag (Updated)

At the moment I am using a big slouchy black bag with a sequin effect which I got from Next back in June and I wasn't too sure on it at first but now I love it, it so big inside that got loads of room to carry everything I need around in it without feeling that it is going to burst at any second, and I like the hoop detailing on the straps. I normally carry so much stuff around and my bags are always so heavy but right now I'm not and must say feels really weird having a nice light bag on my shoulders.

L'Occtine Limited Edition Hand Cream 'Hibiscus Flower' - I got this is in this months Marie Claire magazine and I love it, L'Occtine's hand creams in my eyes are the best anyway but this 'Hibicus Flower' scent is by far my favourite and will defo be snapping it up again before it stops as is Limited Edition.

Maybelline Salon Manicure Top Coat- Always carry a bottle of this around in my bag so handy and never know when it is going to come in useful, out of all the top coats there are out there this is by far the one I  like the most.

Burt's Bees Lip Balm Stick - My all time favourite lip balm, so minty and refreshing in the winter I get such dry and cracked lips, doesn't help that I tend to lick them a lot in the winter which mum always moans at me about and I really should listen to her ha! So i tend to use this and also the Anatomicals Stop Cracking Up which is amazing.

Soap And Glory 'Hand Maid' Gel- I am such a germ Phobe I always have to have a hand sanitiser in my bag but some of them smell so disgusting which is why I now stick with the S&G one, does the job and smells sooo good. I always buy two or three of these at once

Maybelline Forever Strong ' Rosy Sand'- Is the polish I have been wearing recently so been carrying it around in my bag if needed to touch it up but with the top coat it has not chipped once yet and i've been wearing it for 5 days.

Revlon Super Lustrious in Pink Pout- This has been my favourite lipstick for the last month or so, such a lovely pale pink shade and so moisturising love it
Johnson's Face Care Daily Essentials- I carry this little gem with me where ever I go, In the colder months I always find my skin is a lot dryer so I use thes on my face and neck and instantly makes my skin feels so much better.

Don't Let Me Go By Catherine Ryan Hyde - Finally finished 'Lasting Damage' by Sophie Hannah which was such a good book took me a while to get in to but once I had I could not put it down and had so many twists in it. Now started this one and already on chapter 10 think it gonna be a good one..

Maybelline Colour Sensational in Tender Rose - Always carry a lipstain around in my bag just to give my lips a hint of more colour when I don't feel like wearing lip gloss or lipstick and I love these got such a nice smell to them.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend
xoxo

Fave Nail Polishes Of 2011 (So Far)

So I was sorting through my nail polishes and decided I was only going to have on show my polishes I use the most otherwise there would be a nail polish overload in our bedroom so I got my little wire rack and then just a box from Glossybox and decided the ones I use the most I would put in them and all my other ones would go away in my little cabinet under my window and then I can change them around if I need to so I thought I would do a post on the polishes I have been loving the most this year at the min and what I wear/wore the most.

In the glossy box box I have all my Maybelline ones which I love,Barry M,Bourjois, some mini O.P.I's,Revlon,couple of 17, some top coats and Base Coats, Andrea Fulerton Nail duos which i love and found because of FleurDeForce,a couple of Avon matte ones which I like and some Rimmel.
Then in my wire rack I have my most used O.P.I's,China Glaze's,Essie,Nails Inc and Sally Hansen complete salon Manicure .

Essie-My most used this year and mainly in summer have been Lilacism,Fondola Gondola & Turqouise &Cacos. I can't pick which would be my favourite as I love them all the same but have to say Lilacism is the most beautiful lilac shade I have seen in a long time.
NailsInc- Not too many on the Nails Inc front just their Special Effect3D Bloomsbury Square and then their new magnetic polishes and i adore Houses Of Parliment
Sally Hansen- In the summer i loved Yellow Kitty the most perfect yellow shade for summer, then most recently I have been wearing a lot of Gilty Pleasure,Rasin The Bar,  and Thinking Of Blue which is a perfect navy blue I love these polishes as contain a base and top coat in them as well,
O.P.I- I have so many I love but the ones I have loved the most this year are  Short Story, Austin-tatious Turquoise & Dya Think I'm Tex-y a beautiful baby pink shade and a vibrant pink/reddy shade, then a beautiful aqua turquoise perfect for summer days.
China Glaze- From their new Metro collection I adore CG In The City a stunning glitter fest in a purple shade perfect on it's own or as a top coat over something else, and from the same collection Trendsetter have blogged about this a lot recently so won't repeat myself but i bloody love it.
Maybelline- A brand I can never fault and probably one of my favourite brands especially for their nude shades I am yet to find a brand who does them as good! During our so called summer I wore a lot of Orange Couture & Hot Salsa two very bright vibrant colours. And now coming in to Autumn and Winter months i wear  Cloudy Grey,Sable Rose,Rose Poudre, all very neutral shades but so beautiful.

Then I have two random ones which Love and firstly is Mint Green by Barry M  a stunning minty green which i loved in the summer and then  Facets Of Fuchsia Revlon which is new by them and a beautiful purple with all different size glitter bits in it.

What have been your favourites? Always looking for new polishes to try out.

Fave Nail Polishes For Autumn

For Autumn/Winter I always tend to go for dark warm shades and  lot of nudes/neutrals and thought I'd share some of my fave at the moment.

China Glaze TrendSetter-  I had seen so many reviews on this and to start with I wasn't too sure about it,but when  saw it in the shop i completely changed my mind it is a beautiful chartreuse green with gold shimmer in it and applys so well get nice full coverage with just one coat but personally I always apply two.

Barry M Duky Mauve-I have said before this is one of my top ten polishes anyway I love the shade a deep brown which is so easy to apply and then got amazing undertones of purple when it hits different lights and just looks amazing.

Maybelline Taupe Couture- I think I love these Polishes as much as Barry M for ya drugstore brands and every time I pop into Boots I have to pick some up, and this is just a gorgeous deep rich Brown which looks so lovely on the nails once dry, also I love these as contain Iron and Calcium so helping my nails out as well.

O.P.I Mermaids Tears- This is just a beautiful sage green and is a pastel formula which sometimes pisses me off as end up streaky and I run out of patience with them but this is amazing and so easy to apply and no streaks which is great.

Maybelline Rosy Sand - Just a beautiful light coffee shade and is part of their Nude selection and I am struggling to find a brand what does nudes as well as Maybelline I have this on my nails at the min and been on for 4 days and No chips which is fantastic.

Maybelline Rose Produre - Another of their nude selection this on is a very light creamy shade with pink undertones and just a pretty neutral shade, a classic I can see myself going back time ad time again to re buy this.

What are your fave shades for Autumn?

On A Rainy Day

I decided to pop in to town and meet a friend  for lunch a do a little bit of shopping, first up went in to our local Sally's and I got O.P.I Mermaids Tears which is part of their On Stranger Tides collection and it is a beautiful pastel sage green shade no shimmer or anything just a cream formula and i love it, can not wait t try it out. I then got China Glaze's TrendSetter which is from their new Metro collection and i think this will be a 'Marmite' varnish you either love it or hate it an personally I LOVE it  perfect shade for autumn which pretty shimmer finish.
Next up was Superdrug and I just got a couple of their EyeStudio shadows in Cosmic Black and Mocha Mirage had been looking at these for ages and so glad i decided to get them they are duos so can wear on their own or mix together for a unique shade. Then after reading Fleur's blog I knew I had to get Andrea Fulerton Nail Trio and I got Petrol In The Water & Foxy Lady they are double polishes which you can wear on their own or you layer them together to get an amazing colour and the petrol in water is incrdible the shade it gives you is the most beautiful duo chrome blue/purple,I am gonna do a NOTD post on it and hopefully the camera will do i justice.

Then of when we popped in to boots I just picked up some skincare items and got my good old faithful Botanics Rose Water Toner it is amazing, some Botanics face wipes and St Ives Apricot Body Scrub which i have been using for years and it works wonders i love it.

Then for my birthday back in Jan my friends at work gave me a Spa Day at Nirvana Spa which was incredible and I found out the now do their products in Asda and were half price so had to grab some and got JoJoBa & White Jasmine Body Lotion,JoJoBa&White Vanilla Body Butter and JoJoBa& White Musk Shower Mousse and i think i am in love my skin has never felt smoother and they smell soooo good and leave a lingering scent all day long

Last but never least was primark and all I wanted was some fluffy slipper socks, then i saw these amazing grey knitte slipper boots with a woolen lining so I snapped them up and been wearing them ever since and my little tootsies have never been so comfy and warm.ThenI grabbed a pair of pj bottoms in the leopard print which i love then wanted a night t-shirt just to slouch round house in and sw this cute I love Nerds one so snapped that up .

So that was my excuse because it rained so much I had to pop into the shops to keep dry ;-).
Would love to hear what you been buying recently?
