Weekend In The Sunshine

So this weekend me and Nath decided to jump in the car and drive over to Knutsford for the day and make the most of this beautiful weather, we ended up at Tatton Park and had a lovely day walking through the fields and coming across beautiful Deers which came SO close and had some lunch and spent hours sunbathing and chilling out.

Afterwards we had a slow walk back and had a walk through Knutsford village which is SO beautiful and popped in to Mr Simms to grab some american sweeties :) and stopped at a lovely little cafe to sit outside for a bit before heading back. Then sunday was spent painting my nails I decided on a polish I have never tried before Nina Pro and in the shade tangerine dream and I love it, will be getting more of them for sure , and having a bbq in our garden with friends and enjoying the sunshine :).

Did you all have a good weekend? Enjoying the weather?

Benefit Hello Flawless.........

So I've been on the look out for a new light foundation for the summer months and whilst I was in House Of Fraser the other day I found myself at the Benefit counter being matched up with a Hello Flawless Foundation ( I'm shade 'Believe in me Ivory').

Benefit says - ' Hello…it’s flawless time! Our new oil-free brightening liquid foundation builds from light to medium coverage for a natural complexion you can believe in. It’s you…just more luminous & healthy looking.'

I Say-

I have only being using it for a few days but I really do like it a lot,the main factor for me is it is SPF25 and PA+++  which is the highest sun protection which is so important to me and it literally is everything it says it is. So easy to apply I use either my fingers for quickness or my Real techniques buffing brush and it blends in like a dream and gives my skin a nice radiant dewy look.

Even though it is quite a light foundation the coverage is overall very good and feels nice and light on my skin which I prefer I don't like it when foundations feel all cakey which some can. The only downside of this Foundation is the price tag at £24.50 which I felt a bit bad parting with but I do think it might become one of my most reached for products over the summer

Have you tried it? What foundations are you loving at the moment?

Essie ' Mint Candy Apple'

ow Essie is a Nail Polish brand which I have always LOVED but I have never liked their brush for me it is far too narrow and a pain in the backside, BUT ta da Boots and Superdrug now stock a collection of Essie Nail Polishes and have a wide range which is awesome.

I popped into our local Boots the other day and picked a few up including this gem of a shade which is the beautiful 'Mint Candy Apple' and was SO happy to see they have now made their brushes a lot wider which makes applying the polish so much easier-like a dream in fact. I love this shade a beautiful minty green which is perfect for summer I can already tell I will be using this a lot in the coming months.

On the other plus side they retail for £7.99 which is fantastic, compared to O.P.I which I have a long running affair with yet they retail for £10/11 and in all honesty in my eyes Essie and O.P.I are so alike and now with Essie having their wider brushes and price tag of £7.99 I will be picking up more when next in Boots.

Have you got any Essie polishes? What do you think of their new brush?

Nail Polish Collection #1 'Nails Inc'

Decided over the weekend I was gonna do a post on my updated nail polish collection but that would be far too picture heavy so I am still going to do it but over a few posts and by brand, so today is Nails inc.......

L-R- NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL,WESTBOURNE GROVE,BELGRAVE SQUARE

Think these three are my favourite for the summer months nice vibrant shades and a lovely glossy finish love them.

L-R REGENT STREET,OLD PARK LANE,DOWNING STREET

I got this on a whim one day I was in town one day and in a mood to spend money so popped into Debenhams and just got these, I do actually really like them I must admit I don't use them as much as i should as there are other polishes I like more but they are still nice :)

L-R VICTORIA,DRAYCOTT TERRACE,ST JAMES ST

I got these a free gift when I got the three metallic shades and I must admit I LOVE Draycott Terrace and St James st and have got a lot of use out of them

L-R Basil Street,Porchester Square,Hampstead Gardens,Victoria

Skincare Products

Sanctuary Deep Cleansing Facial Wash- This is just amazing, smells nice and fresh lathers up really well and my skin feels amazing after using it,been using it for past month now and a tiny bit goes a long way when using this so I know it's going to last for a while yet.

Soap And Glory 'Rich and Foamous'- Not really much to say about this really, just like all the S&G products it is amazing and the smell is so good a realy nice subtle sweet honey smell and the scent lingers on my skin for ages after the bath

Soap And Glory ' Greatest Scrub Of All' Facial Exfoliator - Along with my Sanctuary product and S&G Peaches and Clean my skin has been *touch wood* amazing since been using all three of these products, not had a break out for a couple of months now I highly recomend it.

Face Products

Bourjois Perfect 123 Foundation- I was in Boots a few weeks ago looking for a new cheapish foundation to use on a day to day basis and came across this so thought well give it a go, and ever since then it has been a love affair it is amazing, gives good coverage but without feeling like my skin can't breath which I hate, and I use my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to apply it with and it really does give the 'air brushed' look love it.

Benefit 'Coralista' MAC 'Well Dressed' -I first had the coralista a few years ago and loved it then, and then purchased it a few weeks ago and for me it is the perfect coral shade for the summer gives my cheeks a lovely flushed look, and as for Well Dressed  it's a bit battered nowdays as had it for a while but i've been reaching for this on a day to day basis for work as just want a hint of colour to my cheeks which this is perfect for.

Mac Paint pot in Painterly- Not much to say really just perfect base for all my shadows and really does enhance the colour and staying power, love it.

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo 'On and On Bronze- I have been loving this for the past month, the pigmentation is incredible and as you can tell by the name the staying power is amazing as well, applys like a dream and didn't crease at all just adore it.
