Travel Make Up Bag......

For my birthday this year Nath surprised me with a weekend stay in London, we stayed at the amazing Park Plaza Riverbank.... the views were incredible.

For two days beforehand I has trying to narrow my make up bag down to a sensible amount to take, as I have got the art of over packing be it clothes,makeup,etc down to a T. This year though I was quite pleased with how I got on.....

So all in all I was pretty damm pleased with myself.

My Top Three Blushes Of The Moment

M.A.C 'Well Dressed'- So annoyed as dropped my car keys on this the other day and scratched it :( this isn't as pigmented as most M.A.C blushes but I personally love it as a day to day shade,such a subtle pink shade which looks so pretty on the skin,I only wear this one during the day though as it is very subtle. And even though it is not as pigmented as others that takes nothing away from the product.

M.A.C 'Azalea Blossom'- This is from the Daphne Guinness collection and was a present from a friend for my birthday, and for me it was love at first sight I love the ombre effect on it and the very subtle hint on sparkle, in the pan it looks very sparkly but once it is on ya skin you can hardly see the sparkles which I like as personally I'm not a fan of a sparkly blush,when this blush is blended together it gives the most stunning pink shade with purple undertones and I Just find this so beautiful I love it.

Benefit 'Sugarbomb'- Bless me good old faithful is so battered now, I have finally hit pan on this *squeals in delight* I don't know if it's just me but I get so excited when I hit pan on products. I think it's because I see it as an excuse to go shopping ha! Ahh I love this blush so much I wore it everyday for ages last year once blended together gives a stunning flushed look to ya cheeks which I find very natural and pretty looking, I'm sure I will re-purchase this as my make up collection feels better having this in it.

It Feels Like Christmas All Over Again

So recently I have got chatting to the lovely Laura and we had been sending emails talking about doing a Blog Swap and what things we would swap and what we like etc etc, Anyways we decided on what we would swap and said we would send them Monday ( 31/1/11). So over the weekend I was a busy bee wrapping all the goodies up for Laura ready 2 take to post office and get it sent yday! Laura then tweeted me to say she had sent mine and i done the same! The post office says 1-4 days for parcels sent 1st class so we had been chatting trying to decide when we would recieve our 'Goodies'.


I got home from work today and woooop there on the table waiting for me was the lil red card from the post office saying i had a parcel to collect, hehe well i was like a little Kid on Christmas Day when i got to the post office. When i got home and opened it I couldnt believe my eyes there was soo much lovely stuff, 2 necklaces,2 sets of earrings,2 bracelets,face masks,No7 day cream,No7 Night cream, 2 Nail Varnishs,3 eyeshadow pens,eyeliner,lipgloss,Bodyshop body cream,lavender liners for ya chest of draws,hand cream,blusher duo,2 eyeshadows,body spray,a bath bomb and Eyeko Strawberry Fat Balm. How lucky am i? All the stuff is just gorgeous!!!

 ♥4-Rimmel Nonstick lip gloss in Candy Pink, I'm so glad i came across this as my hair tends to gt v wind swept if it not tied up and was sick of my hair sticking to lips but now no more! yay

 ♥5-Miss Guided Nail Splash in Miscellaneous

 ♥6-Rimmel velvet smooth eye shadow in cool blue, Don't wear it very often tho as was given it by a friend i tend to go for dark colours

 ♥7-Multi Coloured ring from Dorothy Perkins

 ♥9- Bobby Pins, every girl needs these they are a god send!

Recent Puchases

Hey Sweets,

How are u all? Good week? Been up2 much? Well today i had the day off and......... MY Blackberry finally got sent back to me, for those of ya that don't know it broke back in July and o2 been twats losing it etc so it finally arrived today how I've missed it ha. So after the excitement of that, I decided pop in2 town and do a spot of retail therapy where treated me self to a new thick jumper from oasis in a light brown col with batwing sleeves which i adore! Erm new shoes,make up,jewellery I'm gonna upload some piccies and  show u all lol

Sorry the picture not that good i Saw these In Dorothy Perkins and just had to get them i love the gladiator feel to them and they are sooo comfy to wear.

I love my accessories and different styles so i saw these in Primark and love the, Oh sorry the big chunky bracelet is from H&M, I especially love the ring on the left with all the weaving and black stone in the middle just something a little different.

Also got a new make up bag i love zebra stripes and black and white so easy choice for me when i saw this, plus it got such girly sequin details on it actually quite pretty for make up bag and the other little one is just a smaller purse for nights out easier to fit in clutch bag and very cute

And then I just got some more make up as can never have enough can ya really plus was running low on few things

So with the make up i got a new mascara -Rimmel MAX Lashes it's me good old faithful one

a Rimmel creme eyeshadow so easy to apply and so light as well

A Maybelline Eyeliner which is quite a thick one so can put on upper lids as well

A new Lipgloss

and 3 new nail varnish's by Max Factor purple,coral, and a glittery black

They a new range and as soon as i got home i put the purple one on and i LOVE it, didn't smudge anywhere, a lovely shiny coat and colour and dryed within seconds which is rare to find

Beauty Products i swear by ♥

Thought I would do a blog about some make-up and Beauty products i swear by


Eyes
Firstly i love lots of volume on my eye lashes and after going through a lot of different Mascaras i have finally found the right one and i swear by it for giving lots of volume to ya lashes and that is Rimmel Volume Flash Mascara x10

Eyes,Lips,Cheeks

One of my favourite make up brands is Mac and i love their Pigment pots have them in all different shades the main thing i love about them is you can use on ya Eyes,Cheeks & Lips and sooo light so doesn't make your skin feel all clogged up LOVE them!

Lips

For my lips i always go for lip gloss i always have preferred it to lipstick the only thing what sometimes annoy me is when they are too sticky and the wind blows ya hair and u get a lipful of hair lol, so was sooo Happy when GOSH bought out their brand of Lip gloss i can wear it all day long in without it wearing off and is non sticky which is a plus!!

Hair

Now my hair is very thick and wavy which i do love but sometimes can be very hard to handle so i swear by Batiste dry shampoo so small u can carry it around in ya handbag and if ya on the go all the time it's perfect just to whip it out and give ya hair a quick spray and gives it some more life

Skin

For moisturisers i love a nice smelling one but also a light feeling one which doesn't leave ya skin feeling all greasy and sticky and theres a lot of them which i like but the one i like the most is Jergens, the smell is lovely and blends in to the skin so easily

Perfume

There are too many too list what i love but my fave daytime perfume is Thierry Mugler Alien such a lovely distinct smell and long lasting which is great i love it and then at the min my fave night time one would have to be Ralph Lauren Romance as such a light,floral,girly scent and reminds me of summer and a few squirts you can really smell it and stays smelling vibrant long

Tan

Also I'm sure everyone will agree a nice tan will always make you feel better about yourself well that's how i feel anyway, with a nice natural tan always makes me feel better but hey living in England ya never guaranteed to get a nice tan and ofc ya holiday tan will not last forever, I'm very anti sunbeds i know some people who love them and slightly addicted to them but personally i just feel that they sooo bad for you, for ya health and the condition of ya skin, so i rely on *whispers* Fake tan lol i used to be terrible applying fake tan so many stories from being tango ed, to being streaky lol and then i found Fake Bake Airbrush and hey presto problems solved! Sooo easy to apply and never ever end up orange or streaky! I love love love it!!!!
