London Calling

Back in June my amazing boyfriend won us a 2 night stay at the 5* Kensington Hotel which we were over the moon with , so we chose our dates and decided go down for start of the world cup weekend, and i have to say the hotel and the staff from the moment we arrived to moment we left were beyond 5* it is without doubt the nicest and friendliest hotel i have ever stayed in, On the Saturday we informed them that my mum was gonna come and stay the night which they were fine with and very accommodating the suite we had was incredible a huge King size bed and a single for my mum spread over 3 large rooms and large plasma screen TV, we had our own entrance via lift.

The interior of the suite and hotel in itself was just beautiful and so immaculate the staff could not do enough to help you,On our first night we went to a pub around the corner from hotel  watch England v USA when we arrived back to our room we had found that the staff had folded back our duvets and left chocolates on our pillows and a bottle of spring water which was a lovely touch.
Sunday morning and when we arrived for breakfast the morning staff were very pleasant and so helpful, the breakfast room was stunning with marble tops filled with freshly baked croissants and danishes , glass jars of cereal, fresh yoghurt's,oats and porridge and fresh fruit juice to help ya self to until ya cooked English came along which was SO nice.Could not complain at all.

he area in which the Kensington Hotel is in South Kensington is beautiful we loved the area, was right round the corner from a lovely High street with stunning cafes and bars and restaurants mixed with you re newsagents and tesco so something for everyone, Also we were 15 min walk away from Knights bridge which i must say was a lovely walk. And 10 min walk from Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park which of course when in London they are both a must!!
Overall out of 10 i give our stay 10 there is not one bad thing i could say about the hotel, staff or area and We will definitely be staying there again! So next time ya fancy a break away in London and want a nice hotel with friendly helpful staff in a beautiful location easy access to central London then you have to go for the Kensington Hotel.
